Earlier in his career, Greg served as Executive Director of ServiceNation and Managing Director of Be the Change, Inc., where he led the successful campaign to pass the Edward M. Kennedy Serve America Act — signed into law during President Obama’s first 100 days, marking the largest expansion of national service since the Great Depression. He was also a national organizer behind the “Save AmeriCorps” campaign, which restored funding for the program in 2003.

He serves on the boards of Lambda Legal, the Jonathan M. Tisch College of Civic Life at Tufts University, LIFT-Los Angeles, and the New Politics Leadership Academy, and is the Founder and President Emeritus of the Social Impact Fund. Greg holds a B.A. with high honors from Tufts University and a J.D. from Cardozo School of Law in New York City.
