Mark Jones

Managing Director

Mark Jones is a Managing Director at Bully Pulpit International (BPI), where he leads the agency’s sports offering. A seasoned strategist, counselor, and communicator with more than two decades of experience at the intersection of sports, business, and public affairs, Mark founded Agado Communications, a trusted partner for some of the world’s most influential sports organizations and brands, which was acquired by BPI in 2025.

Under Mark's leadership, Agado partnered with a diverse roster of clients, including International Cricket Council, International Olympic Committee, Jet Set Sports, LeMond Bicycles, National Women’s Soccer League, PointsBet, USA Cheer, USA Cricket, USA Swimming, USA Weightlifting, and the World Surf League, among others. Through a philosophy rooted in action rather than spin, Mark helped organizations navigate periods of transformation, growth, and opportunity—defining clear objectives, anticipating challenges, and authentically connecting with the audiences that matter most.

Before founding Agado in 2020, Mark spent a decade at the United States Olympic & Paralympic Committee (USOPC), ultimately serving as Vice President of Communications and Marketing. In that role, he led the communications effort for Team USA across five Olympic and Paralympic Games, guiding one of the most recognized brands in international sport through a dynamic era of achievement and change.

Earlier in his career, Mark held senior roles at a global public relations firm, advising clients on public affairs, corporate reputation, and sports marketing initiatives. He began his career in Washington, D.C., serving as a senior aide and foreign policy advisor in the United States Senate.

Mark is a proud graduate of the University of Wisconsin–Madison and lives in Colorado with his wife and two daughters.
