Ryan Kay
Director, Media Planning
Ryan Kay is a Director of Media Planning at Bully Pulpit International (BPI), where he has been the planning lead for some of BPI’s biggest public affairs clients since joining in 2020. With over 10 years of experience in paid media, Ryan brings a unique perspective on cross-channel media strategies and tactics that move the needle for top tier brands.
Ryan has run a wide range of campaigns reaching everything from niche groups of policy elites in the US to broad audiences of international consumers, giving him deep insights on the differentiation of audiences and the channels that reach them in the most effective and efficient ways.
Prior to joining BPI, Ryan spent time at several of the media agency holding companies, where he led planning and strategy efforts for a number of the major film studios (20th Century Fox, Warner Bros, Sony, Europa Corps/Relativity). He also worked with clients across the tourism and tech verticals in his previous agency roles.
A proud UCLA alum (Go Bruins!), Ryan graduated with a degree in Communication Studies and a minor in Film & Television Studies. He still calls LA home, where he now lives with his wife Jess, his daughter Zoe, and his dog and cat (Oso and Meeble).
